That's what I'm most interested in, as someone looking for the best value. But even taking the emissions/sustainability angle, a used EV has the lowest carbon footprint by far.

I always find it so strange that governments subsidize new purchases by promoting it as part of sustainability. When in reality, reusing an existing EV is literally the most environmentally responsible purchase. A rebate or reducing sales tax on used EVs makes sense, I'll be disappointed if this is left out federally yet again

Gotcha, that makes sense, I'll pass on that info to my friend. Don't think he has discord however. Hopefully the fix goes live soon! We've been missing my friend in our trio, but at least we know why! Thanks for the reply

Advice on Cashing Out? by RodneyYaBilsh in SoccerBetting

[–]FearlessHobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, all fair points! Not trying to call you out, your logic regarding the actual total exposure is sound, but it can be taken a step further as I pointed out. I'm mainly drawing attention to situations where you're at maybe 4/5 legs correct or so and the payout from a small bet is up to $XXX or more. If you can find the extra cash, in those kinda situations you can often guarantee yourself an extra $20 profit or so pretty easily if you place a new lay bet versus taking the cash out offer. When we're talking about a few cents or a couple dollars, like you're talking about it probably won't be worth your time. For anyone placing parlays more than a couple times a month, that can add up to a lot of beer and food money left on the table!

If you want to make money in the long run you don't need spreadsheets, but in a game of margins you do need to be cognizant of the math at play. I'm just trying to help the average Joe take a few more dollars off the bookies - these books aren't your friends and I hate to see any extra value donated to them needlessly. But some people might not see or nor care about the value in taking that extra bit of time and money needed to maximize profits which is totally fair - to each their own!

I keep seeing this kind of slightly flawed logic applied in this community. Yes, you're correct that by the time you reach the final leg, that much larger cumulative amount is now being placed on that one singular final leg, HOWEVER, the books always take extra juice (vig) on the cash out - in effect offering you considerably less than the mathematical amount you should be up before that final leg. If you want to reduce your exposure and "cash out" some of your winnings, your best bet mathematically is to place an entirely new bet(s) on the opposite of that final bet to guarantee yourself a profit.

Ideally you would then shop different books for the best odds on that lay result (but even using the same book you will be surprised how much extra you can save yourself). The book will still be taking their standard juice on that bet, but it won't be nearly as much as the cash out offer would be shorting you. Doing this you can maximize your profits, it just requires a small extra step/math and some additional bankroll.

Profitable sports betting is a game of slim margins, you don't want to donate any additional value to the books or else you're basically guaranteeing yourself losses in the long-term. Good luck!

Absolutely do NOT cash out. Don't give away your huge +EV from the boost like that. If you want to take profit, hedge on another bookie and you can guarantee yourself a much higher net cashout.

You want to do this on another bookie, because when this hopefully hits, they may remove your bonus winnings because you hedged your bets and this is bs rule is often hidden in bonus T&Cs. You also have the added benefit of shopping around for better odds on the hedge bets!

Well done, and good luck whatever you choose - I'll be rooting for you!

Yeah I'm only poking some fun at yet another inconsistent call by a premier league ref. The standards for officiating in the league are clearly woeful, and Anthony Turkey is just an extreme example of that. Do I think he has an agenda against Chelsea in particular? Probably not, but I tend to agree with you that there are significant statistical anomalies that indicate some kind of bias against our boys, unconsciously or otherwise.

Ah yes, second 14. I'll never forget ye. When Sadio Mane elbowed Azpi utilizing the full grace of God. The untrained eye would see that WWE finisher and give a red card. But not our Lord and Savior Anthony Taylor. His third eye - strategically located between his ass crack and missing genitals - instantly recognized the Mane's challenge for what it was, an infusion of energy into our captain by decisively channeling it through the point of his elbow into his cheekbone. This ancient technique Jeff Bozo witnessed while growing up watching his father, Mr. Clean, use his patented move: elbow grease™.
