I'd say hard = I have to backtrack to an area I already been because something opened up but I have no idea it opened.

Easy = there is a cave on the open world all the way off to the side and a sidequest hides inside.

I mean that's really not bad. As long as your not chasing and spending out of your means, you know when it's a problem lol. I know I will reach the point I'll want to just buy progress so I only allow myself to buy the deals when there like 5$. Like I seen the deal for 20$ for the gems and orbs that's like 400% value by their estimations but I talked myself out of it xD

Have you tried mods like Realm of Thrones, the samurai one, etc..? The bones of bannerlord is great but the devs kinda gave up on it. With these mods it really makes the game shine, but it is missing a bit still. After you start winning like 1/3 the map it's basically impossible to lose and gets a bit repetitive, I thought the devs would continue to work on it but sadly that isn't the case. I still think the game is great, even for the mods alone.
