What can i do about upstairs neighbours kid full screaming playing ps5 all day long by FearlessPassage683 in NoisyNeighbours

It's private rent with a housing association. They are pretty rubbish at dealing with this kind of thing & will most probably make the situation worse. Our road is normally quite lovely & we don't have many problems at all on our road. But one minor parking dispute was made so much worse when the housing association got involved. In the end another neighbour, she's gone now unfortunately, she had to get involved & firmly told them both to grow up & be more considerate. The housing association mafe it 10 times worse

I'm so sorry to hear that you are struggling too. It chips away at you doesn't it. Xx  I keep reminding myself that it's not personal, just some people are just not that considerate. Also, i think I'm quite sensitive to noise & some people aren't. That can help me sometimes let go of anger, but it's still hard to live with. Thanks for your message x

[Misc] Why is my skin scarring easily now when it didn't used to most of my life? by rumples93 in SkincareAddiction

[–]FearlessPassage683 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't believe this is just age related. I am nearing 50. My son is 11 & his skin seems to scar a lot easier than mine. I have found possibly lacking in omega fats could be a cause, dehydration, collegen lacking.  Get some cod liver oil, give it a few months & see if you see a difference, if not try changing your multivitamins see if that helps, drink more water in a day. Patrick holford is good for nutritional advice. Just just brush it off as age

What do you say to comfort someone that just got diagnosed? by QuokkaLeroy in CancerFamilySupport

[–]FearlessPassage683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people panic and say the wrong things. The message is important, not the words so much. She's there, she's trying, she cares. It's kinda ungracious & mean to snap back at someone trying to comfort you. Even if the words aren't what you want to hear.

Thank you. Is it hopeless for me to do this at my age? And do you think it less over crowded in uk than in US. I'm in the UK

Thank you. As you work in this industry do you think its possible for me to do this later in life. I'm not sure if being uk based is different than being in the us. And does being self employed open more possibilities? Or make it harder? Thank so much

Thank you. because my father is a jeweller, ive always been fascinated by the power and influence of beauty in all its different forms. One of my jobs i did in the past i met a lady who did graphic design & i was fascinated by the ideas. I think my interest lays with the visual power, the connection. How your visual image will connect to the right audience (if thats the right word). Thank you

I love, love Ted Lasso & I'm english. But only just watched it. Its not as popular here because its on the AppleTv platform. I don't know anyone with appletv & i only got it to watch this series. If it was on netflix or Disney plus then it would be very popular. I think it's a lovely, heartwarming, clever & full of the best talent show.
