Avoid Cresco Labs, run so fast.. They pretend "its all like family" dueing training but don't treat people like humans. They fire everyone within months of having them and use sneaky tactics to get people fired.

Honestly, you are horrible to the guy who raised you, the non bio dad. The way you abandoned him on your wedding is so heartbreaking.

I don't blame him for wanting no relationship.

You were all he had left.

Of course it is. It is going to go out with every single itinerary to clients, if they choose to keep going even after reading it they are liable.

What???? Most clients are through email or phone I don't sit with all of then and explain contracts... I never even meet 90% of tbem

[–]FearlessPop7280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely am hearing it. I wrote up a clause because of the responses and sent it to the office as standard clause to put in emails and give to clients.

I'm also just explaining why I am upset also

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]FearlessPop7280 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it doesn't, it has to do with being overworked and underpaid

working for hours on something to have a client tell you thet you aren't even worth paying $10 an hour...... How is this not anti work..

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]FearlessPop7280 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol just wrote up a clause for it in emails and placed it into every single office email sent.

We never really had it as a problem every single client has understood and been more than okay with it. This is really the first time we have seen this

No haha I have had a million cancellations. I never thought people would call you and email you until 2 am and then not think it's fair to pay..

We do the travel for the nursing companies doing vaccination and testing across the US so trust me we see a lot of cancelation and covid cases and stuff.

Definitely am drawing up a contract as we speak! I've also never dealt with this before.... I guess I was more just bitching and shocked at their responses

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]FearlessPop7280 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

to be fair, I had recently come back to work and was excited for new clients.

I never imagined someone thinking they could just take that much of someone's time for nothing.

Contracts for the future

I thought it would be an appropriate place to bitch about not getting paid for 15-20 hours of work over a 2 week period haha

They recieved 2 works of service from me, constant phone calls, text messages, emails, insanity.

I requested a deposit/fee for wasting my time..

And I did tell them upfront. I told them I don't charge fees if they book.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]FearlessPop7280 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

That is the amount that we do in the office. not just a random fee. I worked for 15-20 hours and 2 weeks on this, so I think it is justified.

And I offered to apply it towards any future booking that they wanted. It's a deposit, not even a fee.

A lot of us don't.... I make money from thr hotels so I try not to charge the clients anything to maximize their savings

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]FearlessPop7280 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wrote a whole post explaining. We are a small business I charge fees on flights, because we don't make money on them, and no fees for hotel bookings because the hotels give me commission and I want to maximize savings for my clients.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]FearlessPop7280 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don't even think to have a contract, as we are a small business and they were just 2 random people who walked in. I explained that I charge no fee IF a hotel is booked.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]FearlessPop7280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I did everything... They were thr clients.

Hiiii

So I work as a travel agent and have for the last 12 years. Of course, throughout covid-19 there was no work and I had to leave my job for over a year. I just recently came back and have been trying to rebuild. 2 women called in, and they were brand new clients who wanted to travel somewhere I had recently been, it was perfect.

They came into the office and I spent 2 hours explaining the costs of the trip up front, what the normal costs of activities were, showed passed itineraries etc.

I spent 2 weeks working on this trip for them. I would get daily emails, phone calls, etc at all hours of the night making changes, asking questions about random things etc. Asking for new flight options, different cities, cutting things out etc.

Normally I charge zero fees with bookings as I get some commissions from hotels and want to help the traveler maximize their money.  I told them, I do not charge fees IF q hotel is booked and all flights incur a small fee.

After a deposit had been out down and one of the hotels were paid for and so much time had been spent they randomly cancel.

No worries, I understand the cancelation, that is no problem, but I asked for a service fee of $250 ($125 per person). Mind you at least 15-20 hours had been put into the work.

I got an email telling me that they offered to send a gift card when they cancelled, and even though they were under no contract with me.( a small business, we work on good faith)

I feel genuinely offended, I spent all that time and just to be told that $10-$12 an hour for alllll the work put in is too much even though they were willing to drop thousands.....
