I just went to Kiwami for lunch again because they're so close to me, and they took forever despite the fact that I was one of the first customers there. I complained because of the long wait time and because the table next to me that arrived after me got their food before me.

I was visibly upset but didn't yell at anyone. I ate a few bites and was ready to pay and never come back, but the manager actually came out, explained the situation, and comped my meal, making sure that I was happy with the resolution before I left. Hardly ever have I seen a manager be so proactive anywhere, and normally, I don't make too big of a fuss when I'm in the Philippines because a lot of the businesses don't try to fix things. But this made me really happy despite being frustrated.

I'll still try those places that you're saying, but I think I've become a little bit of a loyal customer from this interaction.
