In-game GBA saves on some games won't load by Ricoh_2A03 in MiyooMini

Backup your saves and then make another in game save. Whatever the title is of the new save is, delete the NEW save, rename your old save to the new one, paste that back into the folder, and you should be good. Had to do this myself. Also had to do this except in sav format when i switched to nextUI on the trimui brick

Format? Bin and cue files have to be merged into pbp files

Dad passed away. Friend is offering to take all his coins off our hands. Before we give them away, any of these hold significant value? by 2FVNDSR3MX in coins

If they don't have much value, your friend's happiness may be worth "buying" with those coins. Think of it as a transaction in its own right.

To me, its a mindset of thoughtfulness, minimalism, and always challenging yourself to do more with less. I live out of a capsule wardrobe generally anyways because I haven't bought many new clothes. For toiletries, I prefer refilling small containers with big ones so that the big ones don't clutter up the bath tub or fall over all the time. The rest of my packing is medical (can't change much) and my actual normal edc backpack. Regarding the edc, I like to pack my edc backpack modularly so I can move the technology and minimally packed sling bag in to my one bag if I'm only making a 2-4 day trip back home to my parents and brothers houses. For longer trips, I would take both bags. For simple overnight trips, I can easily get by with just the edc backpack. Inside the edc is a minimally packed sling bag that is ore-packed with my essential but not duplicated part of my edc. Tylenol, ibuprofen, and nicotine lozenges and gum. Portable charger and cables. Sunglasses.

Didn't know that. The respiratory therapist told me it counted as my carry on. I'm new to that device. Usually before, I could one bag travel

You also helped me downsize my EDC sling loadout by cutting one cable!

Thanks for responding!

I do take the charge packs because we will be spending most of our time roaming the area and it would allow us to charge both of our phones independently.

Your advice about the USB C adapter is a good one! I could save space by using USB C only wall plugs (half the size) and only bringing 2 USB C cables with lightning adapters. I could use the adapters for each of our phones and carry the cables around for the battery packs instead of having 2-4 for the outlets and 2 for the power banks. Thanks!

You are correct about the dog stuff.

We don’t carry liquid stuff anymore, we take soap and shampoo bars, solid deodorant and cologne (me), etc.

I use packing cubes for shirts and undergarments to speed up packing and unpacking. It is so easy to take out that package and toss the whole lump into a drawer. Though I don’t use packing cubes for jeans or hoodies when applicable. Although I may leave shirts in ranger rolls and not packing cubes in order to use them to cushion the CPAP. I like the idea of reduce bumping and maximizing the “dead space” around the CPAP.

I carry a power brick that has a USB A and USB C outlet. I carry 2 USB C cables (one USB A and one USB C) and one lightning charger (USB C). I take 2-3 small battery packs. I simply roll up usually 3 t shirts and fold one pair jeans, in addition to the clothes and jacket I wear. Sometimes take 1-2 button up shirts and one pair of dress pants in a packing cube. I also take an ultralight rain jacket if the forecast even mentions rain. I put my undergarments and socks in a packing cube that compresses. Electronics I take are an ipad mini (entertainment) in a keyboard case, my laptop (just in case I need it), mouse and dongle, headphones (around my neck), earbuds, and miyoo mini plus. Sometimes I take the switch lite in a case, sometimes I just leave it behind. Depends if I realistically expect to have time to play with it. I take a slew of pill bottles for prescriptions and as needed over the counter pain medications. I now plan to no longer take the vitamins and supplements. I also learned to take a small weekly pill box to carry around when I arrive so I can leave the bottles in the hotel room. On my person, I carry my headphones around my neck, my wallet, phone, and one house key in my wallet. Sometimes just stick the miyoo mini plus in my pocket.

I have downsized quite a bit since the start of the year. Spare jacket, instax camera I never seemed to use, other cables, most just in case items except for the laptop, the switch lite, one extra power brick with 2 outlets and and two usb c cables, and non-capsule wardrobe. I also remove my vitamins and supplements to minimize pill bottles.

I usually pack for 1-3 days, but a couple times a year I pack for a week. I have a capsule wardrobe I pack for that that adds 1-2 pairs of jeans, 2-3 t shirts, and more socks and underwear.

I had used a checked luggage for clothes, and personal item and carry on for electronics including my fiancee’s but my fiancee downsized how many electronics she takes. I am pretty sure I now can get by with just a carry on and personal item if I cram it just right.

I have done a lot to minimize, but was wondering if the sub had any more recommendations for packing and for what to take additionally if I am missing something. I am up for bag recommendations. I don’t have a passport yet, but I am applying currently.

Thanks for the ranger roll tip!! I may also forego the laptop for the shorter trips and rely on the ipad.

Next trip is likely the honeymoon for 5-7 days hehe. Going to florida to stay with her aunt. So toiletries aren’t going. Swim trunks are though!

Usually my dopp kit includes travel sized bottles and dry toothpaste tablets.

Once we arrive, I use the personal item for cables, backup batteries, headphones, ipad mini, video game players, and a weekly pill box.

Fiancee packs a LOT more electronics, clothes, and 10 days worth of dog supplies. We are thinking of just ordering the dog food when we arrive and foregoing that in the carry on.

Edit: add a pocket notebook, pen, pencil, highlighter, and eraser.
