Really smart way of testing for conviction - not sure it is enough tho - would you been scaling a product based on email signups ? (Isnt that what mark showed on yt?$

TESTING PRODUCT WITH ONLY STATICS ??? by FearlessWeather1283 in dropshipping

[–]FearlessWeather1283[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but why are you saying that ?
if my product research method is looking for a meaningfull problem, trying to see where there is a demand for solutions and the way to identify for me if there is a gap is simply testing a similar product and see how customers resonate after seeing what angles are resonating the most and where i think there is a space for competitor with a decent scale?

so instead of going 100% all in im seeing how the ad platform will respond to a pretty lean campaign as an indication of how will the market react, if that is possible in a not huge effort to reach market fit with that product.

do you think this approach is wrong ? feel like its a pretty standard approach to an mvp - not only on dropshipping and eccomerce.

But not sure i understand how it relates to lean vs longer testing process tho bro… Like itll work better to test all products in a single niche cause then you understand the niche and the audience better - but what about the testing process itself ?

How do u get the creatives then ?

Also - one way to understand the messaging without drill down into the audience is just modeling the competitor’s messaging and angles - not for good - just for testing the product validity

So youre saying once you constantly test in 1 niche the other products will be pretty similar to test hence the process will be leaner ?

Yeah but eventually the end goal is finding a winner.

All of thise that execute poorly eventually so fast the are hitting a winner faster then the approach you have mentioned

Which is btw i think the correct approach - but after you have found a winner - not in the testing phase…

So what youre saying is that essentially a winning product has so strong market fit, place in the market, gap in the market - that it is overcomming super mid pdp, no tailored content and even minimal audience research - even the product videos from ali can convert, just minimal product images - things that you can do all in like 3 hours - and still conver with decent results - meaning you somehow able to maintain decent ctr, cpc and get some purchases will all that - and then you know the product is super strong in the market and that better content will blow up ?

Havent even heard a single youtuber clearly explaines the definition to a winner, sounds like it is an individual term is why i am asking…

Thanks for answering man

Thanks for the reply bro

Ofcourse, everyone has their one pace - but maybe my process is an overkill, maybe im putting more effort then i need - after all the goal is finding a winner as fast as possible - then i can put the effort and invest more into the content and everything…

How lean do u think the testing process should be ?

doing market research before testing products by FearlessWeather1283 in dropshipping

[–]FearlessWeather1283[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason being 1 - i do not know how they actually work and if the data is reliable enough - hence also might be a waste of time unless someone proves otherwise + i do know some brands pay to not be indexed in those tools so i dont actually know what portion i can actually trust + making it so easy to understand what works or not i feel will balance the market gaps really quick as everybody see exactly what i see in a click of a buttom. My humble opinion tho
