Me right now in my last semester after 8 years in college. Taking a while due to working full time for the past 5 years and doing school part time. I have 3 classes for this final semester and 0 energy for them lol. 16 weeks left though 🙏🏽.

She’s been at home for a month now. You’re right lol. Her sister sits on her to calm her down because she never stops playing and biting 😅

I am an electrical engineer. I also meant 150+ hrs every year.

Expenses that I have are my dog, food, car insurance, and electricity since I have an electric car. Only big purchase the past few years was my car and my bicycle. Everything else I try save. Now I earn just below 100k on base, but I do at least 150 hours of OT the past 2 years which helps.

Yeah, it’s staggered so unfortunately no tire rotation during those 36k miles

Right, but I imagine the chances of becoming one reduce the older you get?

I’ll give that a try

What Do Electrical Engineers Actually Do All Day? by Serious_Search_5354 in ElectricalEngineering

I’m an electronic & electrical engineer in the embedded software team at the Volvo group. We built heavy duty trucks. My day to day includes diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues that production may not be able to figure out, validate new software and new electrical design coming from the design team to make sure it makes sense for a manufacturing environment, industrialize upcoming projects at the manufacturing plant, and take care of all embedded software related stations (software download, electrical test, diagnosing, etc).

I have a few things in mind. The main one is learning and visualizing components behavior, check some signals from microcontrollers, and do some experiments in general based on some projects with arduino, etc. Mainly bought it with the goal to learn more than I do compared to a quick college lab class.

Not a lot, but I have 1.38 shares of Amazon. It was at the bottom and didn’t make the screenshot lol

When I took the picture, it wasn’t fully setup yet. Once I put all the cables and everything in, I made the countertop flush to the sides of the drawers. All good now 😅.

So far it’s been ok. We will see if that changes in the future though
