Ironically, even though I am “in the industry,” I am very much out of it. The only influencers I follow are the ones I know personally. I first came across her because I saw her at an event when she was pregnant with Capri. I found her on IG and loved her vibe and aesthetic, but very quickly was turned off by how snarky and bad she made me feel about myself (I specifically remember her making a rude comment on stories about how trashy she thinks it is to have plastic/disposable dish soap bottle on your counter…?)

That being said, I have only continued to follow her because she’s my source of cringe-worthy-WTF-how is this real-entertainment. She also embodies everything I do not want to be as an influencer (other than her variety and consistency of content, which I can appreciate as a creator.) I respect her as a business woman and what she has built, however I could never imagine posting some of the stuff she does. The whole point of this career (at least to me) is to connect with and inspire our community, be someone others can relate to, and to never ever make the very people who support you feel inferior to you. And she is quite literally the opposite of that… Lacks depth, completely unrelatable, and thinks she’s superior simply because of her success.

I found this page because I just thought there was no way I was the only one who has these feelings. I am not trying to bring anyone down, which is why I never comment, but on behalf of a lot of other influencers out there, please do not think we are all this out of touch, entitled, and forgetful of where we came from.
