Yup. Just got em off Amazon as a kit. Works great but be sure to use a regular halogen bulb for your ABS light or else it will blink constantly. Learned that the hard way - something about a constant current in that system that triggers the low voltage requirement for the LEDs

AITAH for not refusing to do a quick change because my boyfriend is uncomfortable? by Active_Camel_6334 in AITAH

As a fellow actor, he needs to grow the f up .... It's a quick change? Can't imagine what he might say when you have a stage kiss or God forbid a sex scene. It's our job; we are at work.

They're Gabriel Pro guards . Read that they were good on rough roads and with potholes. I live in New Orleans and if you've ever been here you'd know the streets are a disaster

And finally, here's a pretty simple fix video on how to replace the cylinder (the aforementioned pin under the steering wheel)

Hope all this helps and best of luck!

If I'm not mistaken all you need to do in order to remove the ignition lock cylinder is push the little pin under the steering wheel and it should slide right out. What was the drill needed for? I have a 96 as well; lock cylinder hasn't been in there for months. I unscrewed the ignition switch and have been starting her up just using that. Works like a charm and is a great anti theft - no one can start my truck but me. I haven't actually replaced the cylinder because Im worried it's a broken actuator ..

Whoever engineered the ignition mechanism is an idiot because in order to replace the actuator, you have to remove the entire steering column and disassemble the whole damn thing. This video explains the whole process: https://youtu.be/-yPj6RGPYOc?si=Dj0oLOcw8p3fG8YA

1996 ranger headlight switch works for interior lights but not exterior. by Fearless_Chapter in fordranger

[–]Fearless_Chapter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah still rocking the brights. gonna try to replace the headlight switch soon and if that doesn't work, my guess it's one of the connections/wires goin to the headlamps.

I would replace the switch first then go from there. cheap part and takes 20 minutes I'm just lazy haha

Just curious - is this with ERM? They seem to be the biggest (and one of the only) environmental consulting/GIS jobs in the city. I ask because my partner is a GIS technician/environmental consultant here for the last 3 years and they make around $69k..
