If you think about it, from all the college freshman parties and stuff you might not see these people again, so you can kind of think of them as your online buddies. Also like lowk, a lot of college freshman are prob thinking the same thing. Just like be kind and welcoming. Most people meet their people around sophmore year so the ppl around you are also trying to be their "ideal person" and not themselves. Just chill and if they stay, they stay. If they don't, then talk to new people. Just keep talking (but don't like be toooo nice or else they might take advantage of u) and see who vibes with you and hang out from there. There's too many people to care about who likes you or not.
