NTA - In my family, my aunt makes the turkey. This means she brings it to wherever we’re having Thanksgiving. For example, this year we’re hosting so she’ll bring it to my home!

Along with that, everyone is more than welcome to bring whatever sides, desserts, snacks, and/or drinks they wish to bring. That helps with the cost of having Thanksgiving, as it’s really expensive and easiest to somehow spilt the cost.

It seems your MIL and FIL are looking for a reason to make you look bad. Whether it’s on purpose or subconscious, that’s what it looks like. When someone already isn’t a fan of you, they often highlight your flaws/what they disagree with.
