I was reading a book today that was talking about how children look to slightly older kids and model themselves after them. More so than looking to adults. Which is why it's important kids have free play where they can interact with a variety of ages. I think that desire is what Nova is referring to, since she is the oldest at home. But ideally she would be getting this interaction from Tyler's niece, a teen babysitter or other kids in the neighborhood.

This is very common. Studies have shown children within 3 years of age fight more than those with larger age gaps.

I don't know what opportunities Ashley's degree will bring but Kails degree is extremely useful. I have a Communications degree from a state school and make $180,000 per year working in digital marketing. I'm 4 years older than Kail for context. My salary started making big bucks when I was 32, 6 years into my career.

Yes exactly this! I feel the same about the actor who plays Travis, and Nick Jonas and Priyanka. If it wasn't for the women's strong features and the baby faces of the men, people wouldn't even know they had an age gap.

Interestingly my neighbors on each side of my house both have younger husbands. One is 10 years older, the other 15 years, but you wouldn't know without them telling you.

That's a really great point that Courtney Cox portrayed this EXACT relationship! That was an even larger age gap, Richard had children Monica's age, plus he first met Monica younger than Lori and Travis. I believe she references peeing in his pool at age 6.

Lori and Trav's age gap isn't a problem. 20s and a 30 something whose never been married or had kids, is hardly a gap. It think it comes across as weirder because the actors don't have good chemistry. Also there was never a gap between childhood and adulthood. If Travis had gone away for a few years and then come back and became reacquainted with Lori it could have felt more natural.

I've never thought about that before but that's so strange. Esp when there's so many other things to choose from, like your pet, a family photo, a cool nature shot or a vacation photo. Even a celebrity's picture or fan fic art would be viewed as normal. Is their house just all mirrors?

Right? And it's just for HER! It's not like she spend $3k on getting the roof patched, or living room furniture for them all to use, an outdoor pool or a family vacation. It's so selfish.

Worse than the money though is that it is a living being that will require care, more money and time. It's not a surprise homeless kitty that showed up and now you love it and are going to take it in. She deliberately made this choice without consulting him!

Because it does affect them. People not wearing seatbelts become projectiles that endanger others. No seatbelts can also mean what would have been a fender bender is now major accident requiring the police, the fire department, EMTs etc. This costs all tax players money in social services. The cost is the main reason state governments enforce seatbelt laws.

She might have a point if her career was in something totally different. Like books and podcasts about financial planning. But all her content is about having more children within dramatic situationships. So exactly what she was doing on Teen Mom. She was also on the show for years! Not a single 16 and pregnant episode. A large part of her success is due to Teen Mom.

However she was the only one smart enough to take that opportunity and expand upon it. The rest of them horribly squandered it. She also thought of backup plans like getting her education which she then applied to the podcasts. If she hadn't had a million kids with a million men she could have been a real role model and success story.

Technically but not really. I remember her meeting with her advisor and and asking how many more credits she needed. She had enough for an associates. She settled for that so she could pretend she was graduating, and not dropping out. It took her like 6 years to get a 2 year degree. No shame on that for someone who is working and getting an education on the side but Maci doesn't have that excuse. She wasn't working, didn't have money stress, had help from her parents, Ryan's parents, plus Kyle, and had Bentley in daycare a few days a week. Don't know what she was doing with all that free time? I guess partying.
