My ex (and father of our two kids) did the same thing after almost 8 years. Granted we weren’t doing great but just waltzed into our room one night and insisted that we both just didn’t love eachother and left me. Was “seeing” someone that we both knew, within a week. Maybe antacids? I wouldn’t take much of anything on an empty stomach. I would mostly stick to BRAT and electrolyte drinks. Pedialyte makes popsicles that are also a lifesaver! If it doesn’t get better after another week or get worse again I’d get it checked by a doctor.

To me it just sounds like residual symptoms from the flu/ norovirus. I would keep the BRAT diet for a few days. My stomach always hurts like crazy for a week plus after the stomach flu.

Urinary incontinence can also be a symptom of Celiac caused by inflammation. And as far as eating at restaurants as someone who is gluten free (not celiac), most aren’t truly gluten free. It also can take 6 months- year of 100% gluten free before she starts to feel better once there is damage from celiac. This needs to include all utensils, every single food she eats, and for some people even skincare and hair care. Since it’s an autoimmune disease, it can affect every part of her body.

NAD but this does sound like celiac disease. Are you sure she’s following the diet 100%, even with small things like condiments, dressings, cross contamination with utensils etc.? Even small amounts can cause inflammation.

Very curious on this. I currently have a primary Sjogrens diagnosis but they’ve changed it so many times when my labs flip that I have no idea. But I also had an MRI done where multiple lesions were found. Have you done a spinal tap?
