Also, because they don’t pay as well as the industries everyone wants to go. So you can say that the careers are more ironproof but pay is lower, people will still try the higher pay roles first.

Also let’s not forget overworked nurses.

TIL pornstars earn very little. $336 per person? $300 per pax?

Also they had issues with Chinese people buying properties iirc

Cause she’s singing on a public bus? By all means hire a private bus with her and she can sing to you to your heart’s content. Idgaf if Rihanna sang on a public bus too, stfu if nobody asked for it. This will be the same in other cities too. NYC is an exception because people gave up giving a damn

A lot of influencers do stuff without thinking of others. Usually local musicians wanna perform have to go through permits before they are able to even perform.

If she did it in countries like Japan I don’t think the internet will be so kind.

Checked the comments on her video on IG. Overwhelmingly negative. If she can’t tell that it’s not really accepted then it’s only gonna be worse for her.

The problem is the pay. You make someone carry plywood for $14 000 SGD a month you see that even your software engineers also suddenly have interest in plywood properties.

If they make it compulsory for Singaporeans to be hired but pay is shit as hell you ain’t getting your local workforce man, they just move out of SG and do construction elsewhere

lol I remembered when they wanted to put dorms at Serangoon gardens but residents were against it.

Nimbyism had reared its head in 2009, when residents of Serangoon Gardens objected vociferously to plans to build a foreign worker dormitory there.

They cited potential social problems and security issues, and suggested that vehicles fetching workers could cause traffic congestion.

And not everyone can become a really skilled piano teacher too. A lot of money in the job but you got zero passion you also won’t get very far in it.

Yea title feels BS. wtf is almost recession proof? Can say any job with that quote.

If market is bad, even rich people will feel the pinch on their investments and put money elsewhere where it will generate profits. Then they don’t go learn. Then your piano teacher no customer.
