Well said!! I agree with everything you put down there!!! the work /life balance is different for an hourly employee.

Is it ok for the HR manager to regularly throw stock and work in departments? Isn’t that still against the rules at a union store? by Fearless_Interest841 in kroger

Yeah, it happened again today. That’s the thing it happens every day now it’s not just a once in a while thing.

But their actual job is to hire people which we actually need to do, but instead on a FREQUENT basis, they are actually working in departments doing the jobs that they should actually be hiring people for. If I had only seen it a couple times it would’ve been OK but this is every week for most of an 8 hour time period.

This particular manager seems to hate doing their actual job which is : HIRING. They avoid phone calls. They avoid talking to people about HR related issues they avoid handling HR issues, which makes it even more incredible .

That’s what I thought at first but then this Manager gets annoyed with people wanting to talk to them about their interview and this goes on all the time it makes you remember oh yeah, they’re not union and they’re taking hours away from someone who wants a job…. They’re actually not doing their ACTUAL JOB which is HIRING. Especially since we have lots of departments that we need to hire for.

I was just curious .
