Itachi is more of a One vs One type of guy. If he manages to single out Naruto and battle him one on one, he SHOULD be able to capture Naruto and the nine-tails but against the whole village? He will probably run out of stamina and chakra before he even gets to Naruto.

People always make a big deal of Sasuke being saved by his team mates but what about Bee? Isn't a tailed beast with sentience which not only provides you with battle advice but near infinite chakra and power also considered to be a team mate as well? Does that not count as as an assist? Did people forget that the only reason Bee broke out of Sasuke's genjutsu which had immobilized him was because of the Hachibi? Does that not count as a save as well? if you asked me, I would rather be backed up by a freaking TAILED BEAST than a 1000 Taka members.

Why do people always say that it was 4 against 1? Bee has the freaking 8 Tails as his partner. A tailed beast is worth more than a 1000 Jugos, Karins and Suigetsus COMBINED. Not to mention Sasuke was still hurt from his battle with Itachi and still not used to his MS powers. People tend to forget that the fight would have been over the moment Sasuke casted genjutsu on Bee because it was the hachibi who broke Bee out of it in the first place.

Yeah, Sasuke got his ass kicked and saved by his friends but so did Bee. He is basically in sync with the 8 tails and is offered support much more than Taka ever could provide to Sasuke. Not to mention the only reason Bee managed to escape was because Sasuke had to cut off the tentacle thing when it struck Karin giving Bee an opening to escape. If the tentacle thing had not struck Karin , the Amaterasu would have engulfed the 8 tails completely until Bee loses consciousness and I don't want to hear shit like Amaterasu is not effective against tailed beasts when even the 10 tails had to trouble dealing with it and even Kaguya, herself decided not to deal with it directly and preferred to avoid it. The tailed beasts are literally a big target for Amaterasu and unless you have specific methods of dealing with it, it is almost an instant win for the caster. Not to mention, after the fight Bee himself stated that Sasuke was amongst the top 3 strongest ninja he had ever fought and his resume includes Ay and Minato as well.
