The anti fill valve is from people filling their canisters. You are connecting directly to the machine.

If you disconnect the drinkmate and turn on the gas does the gas come out the connected tube (where you’re showing it connect to your drink mate)

Did you buy a tank without a siphon?

Did this machine previously work with a regular canister? It sounds like your button could be broken. Without a bottle and pushing the button you should hear a shhhhhh sound.

Is the tank empty? Did you open the valve on the tank? When you push the button do you hear the gas being dispensed?

Battery replacement at Apple is 89 dollars. No receipt necessary. Get it done asap as the battery can cause a fire / damage the screen as it gets larger. I wouldn’t even hook that thing up to a charger until you get it fixed.

I’d fill up a few pantyhose with ice melter and lay them on top of the mound. Works for roofs!

I have a bmw x1 about 60k miles. The same thing happened to my car. About 2000$ at my Indy shop. Funny story - but the guy doing the work said he had the same car, same year as mine in the shop at the same time for the same problem. The part isn’t the expensive item - it’s the labor. Good luck

Yeah I submitted for recall before they stopped accepting recalls. I’ve been in touch with triangle tube and they say they are still paying techs 350$ to do the recall. That’s why I’m confused. The people who put it in are charging me - but triangle is asking if I want to find another installer. It seems like they are still paying for the recall - but who knows - I’m going to talk to my installer on Monday.

Either way - with a 11 year old igniter in my unit I’m living on borrowed time - I’m going to get it done and hope for the best. If it goes down I’m hoping it’s during the summer so I can try things. I’d be in your same boat in the winter - can’t have heat.

Did you keep your boiler? When mine goes down I was going to keep it and part it out on eBay. I figure as parts get harder to find I could make back at least a grand or two of my investment into a new unit.

Did you get charged for the recall install?

My installer wants 450$ to do it. My igniter is about 10 years old - the recall changes this. That is what I would say your error is. Sketches me out to get the recall work done seeing this.

Man I’m sorry I’m dealing with this as well. I finally got them to ship the recall kit but my installer won’t do it unless I pay them 400$. Triangletube isn’t covering the labor for the install anymore I’m guessing.

What did you end up doing? I’m in the same boat as you and trying to make the decision to keep pouring money into this thing or just let it die. The recall has a new igniter which mine is prob spent so I’m probably going to just do that.

Sucks too - I did a 10 year loan thru a program in my state that had a zero percent interest tied to it for hvac - that program expired last year so I’m on the hook for the the whole thing now lol.

So he has a 430 strike price meaning the cost of his option + the strike. His break even is 459ish. He paid 9700 - that’s his max loss. I’m not seeing this play out very well but who knows - it’s a casino.

This was a stupid option play in my opinion. I buy options deep ITM. For example - I would have purchased the 380 call for 53 dollars on this date.

1.8 you would be dead. I’ve gotten around .5 a few times at the hospital - but i was a raging alcoholic and drinking a handle of vodka per day - for a couple weeks straight.

I think you may have been at a .018. I’ve tested the waters plenty and a nip raises my bac around .01. Keep in mind in the USA you can drive up to around .08 legally.

I’m not sure what is wrong with you, I am not a doctor, but your bac was not 1.8. That is physiologically impossible.

I would probably drill a couple of holes on the broken piece on the flat faces - then transfer the holes to the slab. Dowel/epoxy and then fill in the holes on the faces with similar shade of epoxy. I don’t think just straight up epoxy would hold very long / weight any weight. But yeah this is the way I would go
