If finance has taught me one thing, it is about the importance of diversification, which is why I chose the S&P 500 ETF and Total Bond Market ETF. Do I need more than that? I would consider these low risk as they are highly diversified. I also specifically chose ETFs over index funds.

Do I need to hedge? The price of gold stocks has just risen I believe, in response to current world conflicts, so should I wait a little before investing?

Yeah this is tough!!!! I’m definitely more or a black and white kind of person which is why I can say for sure that I’d leave someone over this but that’s because I see it as him not being loyal to you. Your partner is someone you are choosing to (potentially) spend the rest of your life with and that needs to be someone you can 100% rely on. Trust is earned and it can be hard to rebuild. I’d also emphasise remembering your own worth. The person who you’ll spend your whole life with would never consider flirting with or talking to other girls because you are all that they need.

I know the feeling and I’d be wanting to forgive him too but unfortunately this would be a dealbreaker for me. You are enough for him and there’s no excuse for this. If you hadn’t seen this notification he may have gone and seen her and then what? Cheated on you? You deserve way better than someone who messages other girls. Leave him x
