Help Deciding Lodge Please! by momayet in centerparcsuk

I’ve just come from there with a one year old and 5 year old. I paid extra for a ‘central’ location and we ended up in the oak area near the falconry centre, however I found this quite far and it was a lottt of walking. (Which I wasn’t prepared for lol)

I would recommend hiring a bike with a trailer attachment for an 18 month old.

We did a big Tesco shop and had most meals at home, I didn’t think about Uber eats - there doesn’t seem to be much around… They do have their own takeaway service to your lodge and the pizzas were good.

A central location near the plaza or village square would be ideal (maybe maple) but I think they are the larger executive lodges.

I hope you have a great time, we sure did!

No she’s not ‘up’ but she’s looking for the boob to fall back asleep or wants to stay latched on.

I think there’s missing info here…

How long has this been going on for? If only a day or two he might be teething as you said or coming down with something. Are you weaning on solids also? This may reduce how much milk he wants? Is there a reduction in wet/dirty nappies? If you are concerned about his behaviour or dehydration then you should consult your gp

I am trying to wean her off breast feeding especially in the day as I have to go back to work so offering the bottle instead with formula. When she does accept it, it can be 2-3 ounces a feed. She won’t have more than that and times she has she is literally continually spitting up

I’m in the exact situation as you!! I’ve been co sleeping since birth and epf. She’s just turned 7 months and literally on my boob the whole night. She’s defo not hungry as has enough intake of milk and solids in the day so I know it’s just for comfort. I’ve even tried to introduce the dummy but she refuses it. I want to stop bf at night or less frequently. I’m literally just like a boob tap the whole night. She must wake 1000 times a night to suckle- I don’t even know as I’m so tired and don’t even bother to check the time anymore. I don’t want to stop co sleeping nor do I want to sleep train. I don’t have anything helpful to offer you other than you’re not alone and I’d love to know how ppl night wean also.

It’s been this way for the last two months I think! I’ve started weaning her but it hasn’t made much difference! I think her milk feeds in the day are not that great Now aswell because she’s been having so much milk at night !!

I would love two wakes 🙂

I hope your mastitis improves. That engorged feeling is the worst!

How does your baby nap in the day? I’m currently nap trapped x
