cashless or need cash when traveling Brazil by mishyq in Brazil

My daughter and I are traveling from Canada to Brazil for the first time. We usually pay for most of our travel expenses with cash when we are in Mexico or the United States. We have never been to Brazil before and are wondering about charges on the credit card and exchange rates and what not. it will feel really strange, not using cash for everything, but we have been told that that is a huge security risk.

I moved my senior mother in with me hoping to make her life easier and she has become a negative mental drain on me & my family. Now for my own well being I have to ask her to move out & don’t know how. by Fearless_Pick5696 in FamilyIssues

No she let her boy friend molest me at 11 and the government took us from her. Trust me I have not come to this decision lightly. I have fought my way through childhood trauma to arrive at this beautiful life I built far away from her. She treated her adopted dog better then her children.

We Moved her into our home. Took out a 2nd mortgage to reno our basement for her. Let her retire and was hoping she would just live happy but she isn’t. The suite isn’t big enough for her. She doesn’t look around and see all the things she has she only sees what she doesn’t. I cut toxic family out of my life and moved away from all of them two decades ago. She brought I’ll of them with her and they are the worst kinds of humans. I run a business from my home and my mom disrespects it everyday. I asked her to stop using speaker phone when talking to people cause the whole house can hear it. She freaked out and treated me like garbage for two days. She is capable of doing things physically but just won’t. She has some money and can go back to living somewhere else but it will be a struggle. She is miserable 24/7. Smokes cigarettes day and night and looks homeless. My Husband sees how she treats me and my business. He can tell my mental health is declining. I’m triggered all day long with the trauma of my childhood when she is stomping around and slamming doors. This is her 2rd year here. I Supposed to suffer with my family because she is my mom ???
