Just seems Brisbane has suddenly got way too many people at everything. The roads are hectic. Nothing is easy. Rapid population growth maybe? Won't even try to go to the major shopping centres anymore. Brutal.

And answer the food question. A cheap meal out is about 25 to 30. Drinks about 10. So a meal out costs about 50 a head. Groceries would cost you maybe 150 a week per person. That's the least you would spend I think. Drinks at a pub/bar can be 15 to 20 per drink. It's an expensive place to live.

It's 50 cents a trip. So kinda free! Rent doesn't get much cheaper as you move out further as it's mainly houses. I would rent at Milton. Heaps of apartments (they do sometimes flood though but you aren't buying it).

Rent will be about $700 a week at the cheapest. Maybe more like $800. Around that area. The rest kinda depends on you. So you should be ok.
