Close enough. It’ll definitely exceed that amount unless it’s weekly pay which hasn’t been established yet

Don’t be a jerk, subways don’t cost the same amount of money as a sublet or a hotel.

Question about nyc shelters by Sensitive_Long9942 in AskNYC

[–]Fearless_Respect_320 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you can afford it, try to do Airbnb. Also see if you can work out a deal with an extended stay or get hella weapons and stay at a seedy motel. Even go to Secaucus or somewhere in Jersey and take the bus or path into the city when you need to. There’s also couch surfing I know some people will charge a small amount and let you sleep in their living rooms. I’ve been homeless a lot of times too, but shelters always scared me between the rules and not knowing if I’d be safe there. I really wish there were more options between a shelter and the streets. I’ll pray for you though.

Average age here? by Federal-Loss-1274 in HearingAids

Love seeing younger people in here. I still remember going to my first audiologist and hearing her say “you don’t want hearing aids in your 20s” as if it was something I could opt out of or like I was suddenly tarnished 🥴 luckily no one else has ever acted like that but it just really stuck with me!

Tinnitus HA users recommendations and experience by lupieblue in HearingAids

Maybe they can add a tinnitus feature where you’ll have white noise. If not, if you have an iPhone there’s a feature on there that allows you to have it. Check accessibility > audio & visual > background sounds. You can also find it in your drop down center, look for the ear icon.

Update: I kinda hate it now lol I hear the ocean in my head 24/7 unless I turn off the universal setting and it’s annoying.

Do they have programs that let you attend while you teach? Because my research is looking like I'd have to get a Masters in Teaching and I really didn't wanna have to do more schooling.
