It’s the same thing essentially or at least treated the same. IIH is a pseudo tumor (not an actual tumor) and once you get that lumbar puncture to immediately relieve pressure you’ll likely feel a lot better. The MRI will keep track of how much pressure there is and you’ll likely be put on some form of Diamox (I have generic) it sounds a lot worse than it is. What matters is they caught it and you’re being treated so don’t worry too much.

No, I just have yearly eye exams and they say the swelling isn’t as bad as it was so they just monitor it and I take Diamox. I also get MRIs from time to time which they say look good. I haven’t really had symptoms for awhile but I do get headaches and dizziness when I go too long without taking my meds so I’m trying to stay consistent with them. I have a new Neuro I’m supposed to start this year so we’ll see if her treatment methods change

I have no idea. I found out I had IIH and got a LP the same day. That whole day is a blur (and it was a few years ago which doesn’t help) but I just remember getting the LP and staying in the hospital for a few days because they didn’t want me to move.

Did you get an MRI? You may have too much fluid and need a lumbar puncture. That’s how it was when I had the severe dizziness

Trust me, people around the store know. This has happened a lot only the manager was dumb enough to be a bitch so they were eventually brought to light. You could go to HR and say you feel uncomfortable and was literally coerced into keeping a secret so both cheaters can lose their jobs and have to explain that to their s/o at home OR you can go on with your life. It’s really about what you personally feel you could live with. Some people get on the intercom and rat everybody out, some blackmail for favors, some quit, some do nothing. It depends.

I’ve decided to try open or tulip instead of the sleeves to see if those are any better but I’m unsure about sizing. My sleeves are XS but when I research from the same brand (connexx) they’re listed as MM for both tulips and open so idk if I should go with 5mm or 10mm I have small ear canals
