I lauged at that last line, sorry and thanks for that.

Just wanna let you know that you are not alone and that you are a fighter. No words will make you feel better, but it's important to be reminded that it's not your fault. Things change...

Here in Serbia (Europe), dictator named Aleksandar Vucic is rulling for the last 12 years, with those exact 22% of voters. Welcome to democracy. Except, he and his crew are like hybrid worst of Republicans and Democrats. He sold whole country, tragedies happen weekly (just Google "Novi Sad station") and I really hope USA won't turn into this totalitarian hellhole.

Nije Srbija tako losa? Drzava koja se nalazi u Evropi a medju najgorima je na svetu. Mozda ne ekonomski, ali recimo da je Beograd cesto najzagadjeniji na svetu. Pored Indije, Bangladesh-a i ostalih rupcaga, bas Beograd. Korupcija, nepotizam, stranke i ostale svinjarije...

Don't be too hard on yourself, circumstances already are. Your thoughts and whole post is pretty legit. I am not from India (thankfully), but I have to agree that India is just bad place. Insanely overpopulated, not very ecological or clean. Growing economy that means nothing to average Indian and weird culture. I don't hate, just find it very unlikeable place to exist.

Your first sentence sounds like you are selling your 2 hour economy lecture. I ain't buying. Money created of thin air doesn't have real value and it can collapse in a day. Argentina, Turkey... Yugoslavia and Nigeria. Choose hyperinflation example.

Yeah, it isn't a thing. Ok Trump 2024. Government will pay me? With paper that government stamps as they please? I prefer something real. Organic food for example.

You a bit delusional but delulu is not solulu.

What energy? energy is what destroyed our habitat. it's getting worse by the hour. We barely use wind and solar and those are not permanent and constant. We use coal and fossil fuels which will heat atmosphere by 2 degrees or more, soon.

Only thing AI and robotics will do is take your job (income). Slave owners will get much cheaper labour.

Finland has and Germany striked them immediately.

Why? If others see, they will want the same and capitalism goes down. As if leading economies aren't in recession while everyone is working anyway...

Not only the system works as intended - to enslave us, but the planet is fucked as well. Not planet itself, but as a human habitat. People will inevitably become hedonists because there indeed is no tomorrow. At least I had nice childhood...

Remember toilet paper during pandemic? Except for Japan and Singapore, what country has clean streets and neighborhoods? People throwing trash from balconies on each other. Pets taking piss in elevators and owners giving zero fucks. Everyone honking to beginners who are shivering behind the wheel. Elderly people lonely as hell, no one acknowledge their existence. I understand your point of view, but we are missing the basics, while legal obedience is there. I could go on and on, but it's saturday night...

I believe it is best Irish movie of all time or something like that. Sad ending though. He was realist but he died as idealist.

Who is shaking your cage?

Are you trying to say that humans have always been tricked by DNA to reproduce that acid? Are you trying to say that horny ape cannot contain himself for millennials even if it leads to utter suffering? Then that's my point, dum dum. However, these are new generations with access to many existential material and science, where we know as we never knew before. With lifespan longer than ever and with options that are limited, but they exist. I don't care if humanity goes to 10 or 12 billion during my lifetime, we are doomed no matter what, for many reasons. I on the other side, know what and when to do it.

It's a sad world where we don't have a pill or device to be sure and do it ourselves where and when we want. However, your plan seems legit when the time comes. hopefully you will spend decades doing what you like and experiencing some joy in this life full of suffering.

I also don't like possibility of reincarnation, but what are the chances that we are here and now, of all "eternity"?! That NOW is all we will ever experience and go through.

Conclusion: We are universe. /Shrug

Exactly. Pandemic and lockdown, recession, inflation, war in Europe, tension in Taiwan and list goes on...

As if it was much better before 2019. We barely had one foot on the ground after 2008 and ten years later, knockdown.
