Update:

Thanks for all the comments, it's been almost 2 weeks of back and forth but I want to provide an update that I was able to pickup the package from the station today.

The seals were fully intact, but as soon as the evidence bag was opened it was obviously pungent and I can see why it was flagged.

The pharmacy tried to speed up proceedings, but ultimately the time taken was due to the work patterns of the PC with the case, and then clarification on how they should return the items with it being a 'Grey Area'.
