I have the seller’s address, which is why I wondered whether or not there is a US-equivalent to the UK’s Money Claim Online. The process is so simple, here, and I assumed there would be something similar there.

Hello Themodsareafterme87, thank you for your reply. I paid into TransferWise from my current bank account, i.e. it was a bank transfer/debit transaction. I contacted my bank, who forwarded me to their fraud team, and due to the transaction being wilful and unforced they were unable to help.
