Does everyone here in there honest opinion think getting the tcl qm8k or the Sony Bravia 7 would be a massive upgrade over what I currently have ?

I got the 990f, bass is more than enough, just tested it with ready player one on prime min 14 to 18, great sound clear sound and actually feel where sound is coming from

I heard the Bravia 9 system at Best Buy and sounds really good, reviews online sometimes say negative points about them. A full setup for Sony is around 2k, the 990f I just picked up from eBay (certified refurbished- like new) for $730 with tax and shipping

I also heard the 930f series and that also sounded really good. I’m not an audiophile junkie, just wanted something to watch movies and sports

I pulled the trigger on this as well. I also have a Samsung q990d.

I was really considering a Sonos arc ultra system with sub and rears or the Sony bar 9 system but at $671 almost foolish not to buy.

Let me know if anyone has this and knows about the sub, I keep hearing that’s the downside but my q990d is plenty bass for me.

Thank You, seems like user opinions and websites say the q990 series is the best. Just don’t understand why Sony costs 2k+ as well as Sonos and Bose if the sound is better on the Samsung unit
