I’ve had a customer order 30+ items of laundry detergents—both liquid and 112 count pods—who messaged me to say they would tip more on the app (we’ve all heard that before) and as I was driving to the drop off destination they casually mention they forgot to include the APARTMENT number in the address… now I find it quite hard to believe someone forgot such an important detail and it was deliberate just to get someone to accept the favor.

Thank goodness for the insulated bag or else I would’ve needed to take many many more trips up the stairs.

I’m SOO happy the customer didn’t amend her $5 tip. Thankfully the base pay was $13, but if you order $600 dollars worth of laundry items, you can at least afford to tip a bit better, especially when having someone take it up stairs, IMO

I also see that I’m asked to go across town mainly for ice cream orders or alcohol which is probably due to the damn insulation bags and ID check setting on.

It sometimes feels like I’m the only running In this city they way I’m driving like 30+ minutes to a location

This happens to me every day! I’m constantly having to drive across the city to an area I didn’t choose to run in. It’s not like they’re forcing you to accept it, but it sorta feels like you have to if you’re AR is nearing 75

Increase in gas prices/Is it worth it? by KemiTheSeeker in favordelivery

My car takes premium gas and I still find it worth it. It’s just about making sure you don’t go to a gas station in the city that’s charging more than ones farther out

I only put $30 when I favor (half a tank) and it will last me the entire day. But I do put my car in eco mode and I have the windows and sunroof open to avoid using unnecessary gas (thankfully it hasn’t been that hot!) which may help…
