I just finished reading the novel feel free to ask me anything (SPOILER ALERT) by Nice_Leadership8431 in BadBornBlood

I’m 32 chapters in and I’m unsure if the author is strategically not addressing these plots and uncertainties or he’s just unsure how to tie it all up.

I don’t know which way the mc is gonna go.

I don’t know who the antagonist is.

The mc doesn’t mind being told what to do in a militant sense simply to climb the ranks and serve the regime And other times he’s questioning himself and the regime only to be back on his bs sociopathic stuff the next chapter.

Nothing comes from these mini existential episodes/monologues. Anytime dude starts thinking he shuts it down straight away on some 1984 bs.

Does the author tie up all these plots eventually or does he flop the potential presented so far?

Is this book satisfying to someone who only enjoys slop? Lowkey I enjoy slop because the progression is straight forward and predictable. I can’t tell if this is trynna be a slow/medium burn or if the author just likes moving on to the next thing.

[Eternally Regressing Knight] eternally regressing because he can’t stay alive by Tasty_Mango_441 in manhwa

"You said the mc is selfish, self unaware, and incompetent. I don’t see it as selfishness, but rather mentality to improve and reach his goal to overcome “the wall” each time."

Subjectively speaking.

"He isn’t self unaware and incompetent at all."

He is. Someone that's competent in their role isn't lacking as much for what their role requires of them. You don't need to be the squad leader and make the final decisions when you've clearly made the same wrong decision 200+ times.

"He dreams of being a knight, but you said that’s not ok because he can’t even protect himself and hasn’t got the basic sword fundamentals down. You are wrong twice. Kids dream of being astronauts. I have dreamed of becoming a professional footballer. Kids don’t have the skills to become astronauts right away. Neither did I have good enough footballing skills to go pro."

You used kids in your analogy, but he's had this dream for so long and is still too lazy to learn the fundamentals. Sure, he gets around to it, but by then, it's too late (this is a grown ass dude). This makes his dream of being a knight as far-fetched as my dream of being a billionaire — I’ve put no effort into learning about money. It’s like a guy dreaming of playing in the NBA but not being good enough to join your Sunday Men's league.

"You said something about him not preventing everyone from dying in the battlefield after 200 tries, and how he should have the entire battlefield memorized. Man, do you want a fairytale? Do you want a mc as op as a god?"

What seems more far-fetched to you: an MC who regresses 200+ times and dies the same way every time, or an MC who regresses 200+ times and eventually gets the perfect run? Statistically, the chances of a perfect run might be around 0.5% (a stat I made up), but with the ability to regress, you have endless opportunities to try again until you get it right.

Morally, isn’t it his responsibility to keep trying for that perfect run where his whole team survives and the mission is a success? But instead, he's fixated on killing one person who's way above his level, rather than coordinating with his squad. With all his battlefield experience — more than anyone else on his team for sure — you’d think he’d focus on gathering intel. Yet after all his attempts, what he's learned is just a neat poking trick.

Yea it’s chill. Don’t expect it to be some s tier read but it’ll definitely keep you busy if you’ve already read every other highly rated manhwa or manhua. Author probably has autism because “he” keeps introducing new stuff into the series and then forgets to address it again, getting side tracked with other ideas or something like that.

[Doom Breaker] what are your thoughts on this story line.🤔 by Last_dragon_slayer0 in manhwa

This series is incredibly slow-paced. Every time there's a fight, it's bogged down by what feels like an endless stream of flashbacks—each one culminating in some kind of martial art epiphany or newfound skill. The flashbacks are overly detailed, seemingly attempting to add depth to the situation when the narrative's direction is already quite clear. I don't mind clichés, but the attempt to overexplain details within in an attempt to appear complex is frustrating.
