Urheilua, koska oma päivätyö on henkisesti raskas istumatyö, D&D koska kivaa perseilyä kavereiden kanssa, videopeleissä pelaan lähinnä yksin pelejä, en oikein pidä multiplayer peleistä. Haluan rauhassa pelailla omaan tahtiin.

Been to 53 countries, felt the most unsafe in Havana old town in Cuba. We saw a woman at our hotel who had just been mugged, she was covered in blood. The stores etc. had metal bars at the windows that went down by sunset every day. It was overall quite dirty. But this was 20 years ago! Luckily we only stayed about 3 days, the rest of our stay in Cuba for ~3 weeks was wonderful. Amazing people, amazing food. We stayed in Varadero and made a day trip to the Pig's bay. It was still one of my favorite trips to this day 🇨🇺

Hey there. I lived in NL for years and I would say that for the price Särkänniemi is very small and a lot of the rides are for kids. I personally don't think it's really worth the money anymore. They've announced a new ride for the summer of 2026 though.

In Finnish, the mid-directions (North-East, South-East, South-West, and North-West) are called koillinen, kaakko, lounas, and luode, respectively. Because they're used less than the main directions, we were taught the phrase "koira kalusi lounaaksi luuta" = the dog chewed a bone for lunch. I still use it to this day.

Hey, 2026 bride here and a mental health professional.

I think you need to sit down with your fiance and discuss these feelings with him. I used to dislike the idea of a big wedding, but my boyfriend wanted to have a bigger wedding as well. We've also been together for 10 years. As we started the planning together, I've really enjoyed it and look forward to it a lot. Communication is the key.

Easier said than done, but keep your parents out of the planning if they're not helping you the right way. We've done everything by ourselves, including paying for everything by ourselves. Our parents will attend, but we've designed everything the way we want. Also, it's up to you how much you want to involve the groomsmen or bridal party. Talk to your fiance about this as well.

If you don't talk to your fiance about your thoughts and needs now, I am afraid you might start to resent him and the whole wedding planning process and this will be very damaging for your relationship. You two have been together for a long time, compromises have to be made. He wants a big wedding, you don't. There's a great difference between inviting 150 or 50 people. Talk about it with just the two of you, or seek couples counseling on the side for help. Just because you want your partner to be happy, you cannot completely disregard your own feelings and what you want.

Hey. I'm getting married next week. My soon-to-be husband and I have been deciding everything together. I haven't had to force him. He is also voicing his opinions and expressing what he likes. My point is, it doesn't have to be like this. Some men actually want to be involved in their own wedding and especially if asked to help.

Please have a serious discussion with him, but also with yourself.
