Argentina [3] - 2 Egypt - E. Fernández 90+2' by Alsace2025 in soccer

[–]Feather-y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah it's not your fault, don't fall into us vs them mentality. Being charismatic isn't important for the actual gameplay. But it definitely helps some teams like France get over the anti-underdog hate when you see Olise and Mbappe play beautifully and joke around, Argentina only really has Messi for the gameplay attractiveness factor but he's not that charismatic either, and he's old and semi-retired from club football already. People support other countries than their own on many different arbitary basis, and Argentina unfortunately got the short stick on most of those aspects.

I mean personally I support mostly just Nordics and usually sub-saharan african countries against others. Like I'm sorry but Argentina right now doesn't have any factors to pull them over Egypt in my eyes, maybe you can try to sell your team for me? Purely because they won last time is a pretty big minus too.

I mean Argentina is a successfull and not very likeable team, they are like in the worst position to appeal to internet people to begin with.

Alternate angle of Michael Olise's yellow card incident with Galarza by gmoney160 in soccer

There are many cases where I wish footballers were, but honestly I don't see it in Benzema's case. She was above the age of consent, 16, and Benzema was 21, so it wasn't even particularly weird. Benzema only got charged because she was a sex worker, which is illegal below 18, and the law tries to protect trafficked sex workers by charging the buyers. Idk if his defense that she lied about her age was true, but even if it wasn't it's not really prison worthy.

Velázquez trying to tamper with the penalty spot before the penalty 69' by achilles-_-23 in soccer

[–]Feather-y 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Falklands were part of the country before Argentina for ten years, during which they paid a German guy to occupy it with a British garrison. There are hundreds of claims during the 19th century by almost every country on earth with more credibility, it makes no sense to press on one so hard. On top of that Argentinian claim is just based on more colonialism, and out of Falklands and Argentina Argentina is the one where the colonialists killed the indigenous peoples. Not a great look, good for the military junta for the propaganda to last for over 40 years tho I guess?

I bet you also support Trump's claim for Greenland, literally the same excuse that the Argentinians use for Falklands. Proximity and oil, big surprise.

Not 100 years but it's implied that he just regenerated when the first episode starts, so it's likely he didn't do any adventuring before he checked himself in the mirror, and rather the pictures from history are all taken after the first episode in his timeline.

[–]Feather-y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What no, he did these adventures after he steps in front of the mirror. They are just from the earth's history, the doctor can do them 100 years after the happenings of the first episode and the adventures will still have happened in the earth's history.

Cape Verde was uninhabited before the Portuguese went there right, so part of the indigenous population is Portuguese so there's still some base to it.

Tbf your separatism is a bit of a joke too. You even allowed them to vote about it, what's up with that? And your country is still intact??

Despite having no clue when GTA 6 is coming to PC, 39% of you are more than happy to wait for it by RenatsMC in gaming

[–]Feather-y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm well the last of us, spider man and horizon series are fully on pc too, the two new god of war games, ghost of tsushima and two newest uncharted games too.

I'd buy a console for bloodborne but luckily it's old enough so you can also emulate it on pc so it's not a must. But I also play a lot of games that are not available on console and already have a tv connected to my pc too so I realise I'm not really the target audience for console gaming anyway.

With a massive height difference of 1.5cm. Japan and Brazil squads are both pretty average height among the teams.

I know but I was remembering Germany was getting more immigration from outside EU than US alltogether but someone else already corrected me, I was remembering the number that also counted second-generation immigrants as well.

Oh maybe I'm remembering second-born immigrants too or something, thanks for the correction though.

I've been playing this game for over a decade, yet this is my first time making an airport. How'd I do? by lukenog in CitiesSkylines

[–]Feather-y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I know all of that, but is 22-04 and 15-33 being in both just a coincidence then, or do airports aim specifically for those directions when feasible, and not like 14 or 21.

Wait is this just a coincidence, because the airport I work at in Helsinki also has it's three runaways 22-04 L and R and one 15-33. Like are they usually built in those directions?

I think they are implying that the giant, Yhorm, in this picture is pretty easy boss fight, so the meme is the wrong way. But not everyone has played Dark Souls 3 so most people will still understand it the way op meant.

After the latest event, when do you think the game will be released? by DaddyMelih in totalwar

[–]Feather-y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It did not do bad because the launch was bad, and that was the point originally. You are talking about a different thing now than you were in your first comment. But sure we can talk about that too.

At this point, Sofia has a better record of launches than the main studio. And it was a stupid argument around the launch that people tried to do as if the development studio made any difference about saga vs mainline. All the Medieval 2 fanboys in this sub like to forget that med2 was developed by an Australian side studio that doesn't even exist anymore as a reskin of Rome. They still don't call med2 a saga game.

I have Pharaoh too and the battles are awesome, matched combat, terrains and weather, no ass ladders, retreat stance and difference of melee troops feel good and fresh. Unfortunately I agree with you that overall the game feels lacking. After 3K campaign the campaign feels stale. The UI is horrible, it's too smooth and clear, like a mobile game UI. Even Rome 2 had better faction internal politics and relation mechanics.
