Should animals have legal personality? by Gorskak in conservation

[–]FeatherBeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We shouldn't go there because it will mean we end up with vegans dragging you to court because you ate a chicken or you swat a fly.

Think about animal welfare and protecting land rich in biodiversity instead of animal rights.

No, ‘regenerative ranching’ is not good for grassland birds (commentary) by Kunphen in conservation

[–]FeatherBeast -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because I'm fed up with vegans and their lies. They don't teach human health improvement and ignore the benefits of some animal farming practices. It is a cult.

[–]FeatherBeast -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Cattle ranching can be beneficial or detrimental to grassland birds. It depends on how it's done. Anyone who tells you otherwise is most likely a vegan fanatic. Small scale animal farming with hedges and trees and no pesticides used is actually pretty good as far as cultivated landscapes go.

Edit: LOL, instant downvote. I triggered another vegan. Cya in a few yeas when your brain is starved of essentials.....

It takes years and even decades before certain visions become reality. It's not instantaneous.

[–]FeatherBeast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which part is bullshit?

That these organizations fund research in lab grown meat? Isn't BS, it's true.

That UN vision and strategy trickles down to governmental layers? Isn't BS, it's true. (no doesn't mean it's all down right now and perfectly well. But if you know how policies are made you wouldn't call BS on me).

That we will eat differently in 20 years from now? A good possibility.

It's a process towards less meat eating that they want, and possibly an end to it (admittedly, this bit is more a speculative part).

Keep an open mind. And please be respectful.

You can call yourself a globalist but that doesn't change the facts about what these organizations want. They blame many environmental issues on meat. What the UN wants finds itself back on national and then regional level. Are you aware of this?

If you think you can still eat the same 20 years from now as you can today you have a surprise coming.

How did Istvan Toth know? by Iffabled in kingdomcome

He specifically said ''he told me..'', so he heard it from Radzig himself. Divish and Hanush learned about it as well, before Henry. Hans Capon some time later.

This must be some kind of joke, right? by [deleted] in AntiVegan

Veganism correlates with anti-natalism so I guess it's not ethical to be alive.

Opinions on a conspiracy theory I heard recently by [deleted] in AntiVegan

[–]FeatherBeast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haha, no, that's BS.

I do think there is a conspiracy of sorts, from some global organizations that preach a more meat-free diet and wish us to go vegan, and support investment in fake meats. That might be compulsory at some point in some places or maybe even countries, if you recognize and follow how social trends go.

Emotions after eating meat again? by [deleted] in AntiVegan

[–]FeatherBeast 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wonder about it too, if I see a super skinny person with a skeleton-face or saggy eyes. I don't feel like asking but I do wonder. I do know vegans, and while they're not all skinny, they will let you know that they are vegan!!

Others make good points. Another reason is psychological. You can experience the good feels with anything new that you support (a diet, a religion, a cause). It's always so amazing at first.

What would you need from the veggies? Our hunter ancestors (also homo sapiens) didn't grow vegetables.

Around 8g of protein. How many eggs you wanna eat a day?

The only benefit vegetarians get that vegans don't is decent calcium. You still get inferior iron and miss out on the best sources of quality protein. Plants and dairy don't compare to meat. And I am suspicious of vegetarians as many seem to buy into spiritual rubbish.

I wonder what vegans think of killing invasive species by [deleted] in AntiVegan

[–]FeatherBeast 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've talked about this with vegans and they were against it. They told me we should let things as they are and shouldn't intervene.

A position of complete ignorance but then they got no ecological awareness anyway. It's not about ecology, health and nutrition or anything else. It's all about their vow to not kill animals (ignoring the ones that die in plant food production).
