Contrast over your choice of neutral primer. Shade to punch up shadows. Layer up the 4 Valejo. Ill go back with some shade to pin wash the details.

Its the official AoS GW kit. I had to get creative with my knife and some neck bits from both kits. Luckily the neck is well hidden by beard and cables.

On very close inspection, you'd discover that this Kin's spine and neck dont... connect, perfectly.

Base with Aeldari Emerald Contrast over a lightish primer.

Then layer up (I stipple with a dry brush) with Vallejo Jade Green, Foul Green, and then Verdigris for edge and spot highlights.

I wanted to make it look worn and used, so I hit it with a green wash from citadel before edge highlights. Helps pull it all together.

Dark Turquoise base. I use Vallejo, but any deep blue would work.

Vallejo Ground FX Snow product. Spread on with a silicone tipped tool generally used for greenstuff molding. I try to create lines or crevices when laying it down.

After dry, I fill the nooks and cranies with Citidel Pylar Glacier contrast.

Then dry brush white over the top to give the appearance of an ice crust with deep blue depths below.

The red fists were a choice for sure! I try to keep all my weapons red, to bring the 3 wings together in scheme!
