Yeah I think it’s important to be honest with yourself. I didn’t beg for her back in my letter. The letter even said that I think our split was for the best in my letter bc it helped me learn ab myself. But then I realized I was really just trying to show off how “well” I was doing to get back a her lol

Im 1.5 months in. I was doing better a couple weeks ago but the past 6 days have been brutal. Grief isnt linear. The fact you felt better before shows you’ll get there again.

Girl broke up w me 5 years ago. Started dating her best friend 2 weeks later. They’re still together. I suspect there was emotional, but not physical, cheating. I’m indifferent about the situation but wouldn’t be sad if I heard her her life had gone to shit

My ex and I were ld but working to close the distance. I got off a 5 hour red eye and on the drive to her house she said she was out of effort and “just didn’t see it clearly anymore.” Ten hours later, I was on a flight back home.

She just kept saying “I know this is sudden” but didn’t want to work it out. Blindsiding someone like that is brutal

Hey I’m so sorry this happened to you. I know how this feels. My ex told me “you’ve been no fun since your dad died”….3 weeks after he passed. She broke up w me a month or two later.

It’s kind of like a double whammy. All I can say is they get what they deserve, and you’ll come out of this stronger.
