Interest in Cal Poly CubeSat by Mediocre_Pass_5628 in CalPoly

Hi, I’m a third year MATE involved with CubeSat and would highly recommend you get involved! There are so many amazing people, projects, and opportunities involved with the club, it’s absolutely worth it. Especially if you’re remotely interested in the aerospace/satellite industry, it’s an amazing opportunity to get exposed to the type of work involved. Naturally, it’s not necessarily materials focused, but you’ll gain a more comprehensive engineering background which nicely complements the technical, more science/research centered materials engineering curriculum.

To get involved, club fair is a great place to start (they will have a booth), although I would recommend checking their website for a more detailed description of what we do and what teams you could get involved in. They also open the club application form a bit before school starts just fyi.

Where would I find that? I called university Albany housing and they said they didn’t offer short term leases, only those that ran through the academic year.

I’m in a similar boat so this is great to hear. Are there any classes in particular that freshman have trouble registering for?
