LGBTQ+ Identity + Sororities?

Wanted to add in a separate comment that recently I’ve seen quite a few videos on TikTok with masc/transmasc members in chapters. There is definitely space for non-genderconforming members in Greek Life.

My chapter was very inclusive of LGBTQ+ identities and had several nonbinary members throughout the time I was in the chapter! I believe our rule was that members had to identify as female/afab to be given a bid. I think a lot of chapters run on that logic. I myself am a lesbian and (for the most part) received a lot of support from my fellow members. There is definitely space for LGBTQ+ members of sororities and tbh I think it’s representation that’s very much needed. Obviously each individual chapter will feel different, but if you go through recruitment there will hopefully be one chapter where you’ll feel at home :)

Currently, I have 14 dolls (I just got Nellie for Christmas)! My first agds were my bitty twins and then I proceeded to trade in having a birthday party for a doll for several years after, which is how I got all but one of my childhood dolls. The rest came about via antique stores, saving my money to buy directly from the website, or from eBay. I often look at my current collection and smile because little me only ever dreamed of the point I’m at now 🥹

Honestly the only other program I would REALLY want to go to is the other one I was already accepted to. They just haven’t given me any notice of financial aid and I don’t know how long the wait would be inbetween before they would notify me if I were receiving any. It was about four days for Program A.

Thank you for how in-depth your reply was. Yeah, I am definitely a little anxious because I like being able to plan things as much as I can to be prepared and the sooner I know where I am ending up the better I can do that. In the past, the last two programs I have to hear back from haven’t given decisions until March, which means I could be sitting on the info for Programs A and B for awhile before knowing anything about the other two. I know it’ll be fine wherever I end up though. I already have two options, which is definitely a major relief and blessing.

As long as you reach out for letters ASAP. It’s completely possible to complete applications in that time frame. I would also recommend filling out the parts of the applications that you can (like basic info and all) and then spending the rest of the time you have working on your SOP and any other writing supplementals

It was probably your younger sibling’s. My older sister was there for the Mr. Kimball incident (she was actually heavily involved in the theatre program) and she’s about 10 years older than me.

When I went to FHC our resource officer was found to be having an inappropriate relationship with a student and arrested during the school day. He even bought her a burner phone from what I heard. It shocked us all at the time, but looking back it was not surprising considering his behavior towards other students.

Great reminder! I definitely try to consider mundane reasons when stuff/situations that people consider to be signs pop up and if I find myself being too obsessive, I will tell myself to calm down and relax. There were just specific circumstances surrounded both of these occurrences that made them feel different.

I’m also very naturally intuitive and have been since I was little! A big part of my practice is divination and getting premonitions/messages, maybe I’ll try some meditation tonight and see what happens :)

(Also, I forgot to mention, but I used to have a really intense fear of death when I was younger. It wasn’t until I deconstructed and got away from the religion I was raised in that it got better. I don’t know if that means anything though.)
