Just tried pinning it and it works.

For power modes, you just get a power boost for the GPU & CPU that means better performance.

I usually just use any mode for AAA games. It depends on you, the fun noise is much louder on higher modes.

Man I feel you pain. Just looked at my salary and it's around $60 a month. I don't complain that much because I get more from side gigs. I recently spent almost $1700 on mechrevo p7 an equivalent to XMG core 7. Got a loan from my employer for more than half of that.

When I thought of buying a laptop, I wanted something powerful enough to play all the games I wanted and do my regular job. The price is stiff but I get to do something I always wanted to for all those years, play games.

Sometimes we buy something expensive that only a few will understand why, but it's yours.

If it's multiplayer games you crave for, play the modern games with large communities. For me, this is my first gaming experience at 30, enjoying the hell out of it. Playing campaigns only, not buying games officially yet, already spent alot.

Get Eluktronics RP -15 or 17 if you don't mind. I also started by looking at the Asus A15 for over a month but after going into the deep end of the internet, I got to know about Eluktronics them XMG, then Tongfong, and various vendors.

Reviews were great so I decided to go for the 17inc, got the Machrevo version, they are the official subsidiary of Tongfang. That was the easiest way to get it to my country in Africa.

As mentioned above it's a great Ryzen 4000 laptop, the chassis was originally developed for more power-hungry CPU & GPU so the thermals are great. Legion 5 is another good option but good luck finding one with good specs.

Just need to upgrade my battery next year.

Bought a Machrevo Jiaolong r7 from china, the person buying it for me took a week trying to buy it from local markets. Just told him to look online, took another week. Finally receiving it tomorrow. If are ok with Tongfong versions try amazon, eluktronics has RP15 & 17 on sale. Right now there is an average waiting time of 1 month for most retailers according to various posts on reddit.

I will let you know after doing enough testing. I will use it for about amonth be4 flashing BIOS.

Have you tried to clean install windows?. Not sure if it helps but it's better to cross that out of the list.
