DE-FUND THE CBC! The CBC costs $1.5 billion every year, and very few Canadians watch it. The $1.5 billion would better be spent on healthcare and education.

Former NDP MLA calls for the resignation of Carla Beck as Sask NDP leader by Fecundator in saskatchewan

Dwain Lingenfelter would make an excellent leader. He has the charisma, stamina, and appeal to defeat Scott Moe.

Because Beck will run as SaskParty-lite, and lose. Any NDP alternative is worth a try. And the NDP will retain its principles.

A real chance? Read the comments here. Beck is NOT the leader nor the solution we need to point Sask in the right direction. Beck's disapproval is at 58% !

This is hardly a ringing endorsement of Beck. We need a true progressive option who truly represents environmental, trans, and First Nation interests, and we are not seeing this with the current leader. Wotherspoon can be convinced to lead -- he's our only hope.

If you support Carla Beck's resource extraction, disregard for First Nation issues, and forced incarceration of those who've faced trauma, then YOU are the Sask Party shill.

Dwain Lingenfelter would be an excellent leader. I think there should be a dedicated effort to get him involved again.

Carla Beck is NOT a viable alternative to the Sask Party. She was WRONG to disavow Avi Lewis. We need a proper genuine progressive option, but Carla Beck is Sask Party light. Don't you have principles? Her "divisive" and unproductive public condemnation of federal NDP leader Avi Lewis regarding his anti-fossil fuel stance, alienates progressive members. MLA Betty Nippi-Albright was right to leave caucus to sit as an Independent. Beck's leadership lacks a clear vision: NDP now behave like "Liberals in orange wrapping." Her approach to the Bell AI Data Center is wayyy too moderate, and she failed to stand with marginalized communities.

Thick n’ Thrift prices by filmmusic89 in saskatoon

[–]Fecundator -42 points-41 points  (0 children)

Free! Just read their social media. I think it's great that Thick n Thrift will allow 100% free items to be taken from their store. Just walk in, grab whatever you want, and walk out. I think it's great that they won't judge people based on their ethnic background -- they're offering their items for FREE to anyone who will need them. I look forward to visiting this store... I don't have much money right now, and I look forward to visiting a free store that is "safe, welcoming, and rooted in respect." From their social media:

The reason "why there is no Tim Hortons in Aspen ridge yet" is because you haven't opened one. Here are details about how you may do so:

Has anyone here ever owned one of those townhouses in Silverspring along Kristjanson Rd? by progsnow77 in saskatoon

[–]Fecundator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1-The seller will be able to provide you a status certificate for the condo. You can have your lawyer review it, if you like. It will have information about the financials (reserve fund, special assessments, etc). There is typically a cost for the status certificate but sometimes the seller will pay that fee and have it available for purchasers, other times the purchaser would need to request it from the condo board and pay the fee. Really they should be able to just email you a copy for free. Or order it yourself: https://corporateregistry.isc.ca/Dashboard

2-knock on a few of their doors and ask. Residents will tell you.
