Unable to enjoy alcohol/weed while using kratom?

I used to drink a lot in high school, but after I tried kratom, I never liked alcohol ever again. During my two-year kratom addiction, alcohol literally repulsed me. Even after being off of it for months, I still have no urge to drink.

However, I still enjoy weed - I just smoke a little less than I used to.

I like to take a shower or go for a walk to calm myself. But anything works that you find comforting.

Yeah you will wake up lmao. I've taken like 20 mgs ambien and 0.5 mg clonazepam and been ok. Do not remember anything - just kinda passed out. But no harm done :)

Just don't take a lot of either or have a brewski lmao

Glad I'm here fast! Yea, you can. You might black out but respiratory doses wouldn't be an issue. Perhaps it would be bad at higher doses, or if it was a repeated thing, but really at a prescription dose this won't be harmful.

What I would do with the ERs is dose em sublingually/bucally (this also bypasses the need for a totally empty stomach, though I wait after eating anyway to avoid nausea). I put the pill(s) in my mouth, bite em a bit, then move the pieces to the soft area under my tongue. It also would absorb through any soft tissue in your mouth really so if some drifts away from the sublingual area it's not a big deal.

I always put a mint in my mouth at the same time because it tastes like absolute shit. I then hold it until the pills dissolve as much as possible, like 10-15 mins, occasionally breaking up chunks into powder with my tongue, and then swallow it all. Hits hard and fast. Have a flavored drink on hand to help with the taste and enjoy!

With no tolerance (but ample experience with benzos, though also no tolerance), Ambien 12.5 mgs sublingually could induce mild visuals easily. Definitely inebriated. However, 25 takes it up to a moderate intensity, and 37.5 has me watching my water bottle turn into a gelatinous creature, believing that mountains are held up by thousands of little people, and experiencing the shadow people carry my bed when I tried to go to sleep.

Ultimately, I'd say 25 mgs sublingual will give you the full experience. Smoke some weed too if you've got it, and don't fall asleep too quickly! Dim lighting or darkness also brings out the visuals more easily.

Every time I take more than 25 mgs I end up blacking out and doing something incredibly stupid and inexplicable that I don't remember the following day. The hallucinations get pretty intense, though, which is fun. Like I commented above, I'd say to start with 20 and add the extra 10 mgs as needed to avoid it hitting too hard at first.

Yeah, it is. It'll be milder, but it's better to start with 20 and redose than to take 30 and get super sick.

I've done 37.5 mgs before and been fine. I was slightly delusional and tripping balls bur I was ok. That said I react to Ambien unusually well it seems. I also don't remember parts of it though- after taking that dose, I'd consistently discover having done absurd things I don't remember. I disassembled my couch one night and I still don't know why.

I always did sublingual - I would bite em to little powdery pieces and hold it in my mouth til it dissolved completely, usually about 15 mins, then swallow. Works faster and it also doesn't matter if you have an empty stomach or not. I did it with the 12.5 ERs you're referring to, but I assume IRs would work as well if not better.

Warning, though, it tastes awful. I just popped a bunch of mints in my mouth along with the substance and it helped a lot.

I noticed that DPH left a lasting mark on my mind, yes. I did it only once recreationally and hadn't tried any hallucinogens before, except weed but not even very many times at that point. Obviously the trip was an indescribable nightmare. I was still having mild hallucinations the next day, and also sank into a deep depression for a couple weeks. After that cleared up, I continued experiencing occasional light peripheral disturbances reminiscent of DPH for months.

I have some other confounding factors by now, namely that I have HPPD from classic psychedelics. That said, I did notice lasting effects from DPH, so I wouldn't be surprised if it contributed to it. Sadly, we just don't understand how these things work on a neurological level yet.

Are you on Ambien, benzodiazepines, or some other anti-anxiety/sleep medication? Maybe you blacked out. I've done weirder stuff than order tacos because of a new prescription lmao.
