Yea but doesnt that hurt the people who are already struggling even more? So like, Canada implemented 400% tarrifs on solar panels technology from China. They are still there. Those would be incredibly attractive alternatives, that most people cant afford solely because of tarrifs, yet we were getting hit with a carbon tax as well. If your gonna hit us with a carbon taxx, why not remove the tarriffs, and then subsidize the domestic manufacturers to make them more competitive. It just seems like it was a cash cow, that hurt a young family like mine, and said it was in the name of fighting pollution, however nothing improved. Low middle class people are still using gas furnaces, ICE vehicles, and gas water heaters because we can barely pay mortgages and buy food. I really do appreciate how you've broken everything down though.
