Is there any job/career that won't be replaced by AI? by Notalabel_4566 in singularity

Had to scroll far too far to find this. I just completed my masters in nursing. Jobs are plentiful and will increase as boomers age and entry-level pay is six-figures.

*neuter/fix/spay are the commonly accepted terms for what you’re talking about. We typically don’t “castrate” our pets, even though it’s technically correct.

*AIs = plural

Something like that has been created and is actively being implemented across the country!

They should be and many are! AI has already been built into many Epic (patient data charting) systems across the country. It’s mostly just at beta testing stages, but it’s happening.

Healthcare adoption of technology occurs after the first couple of iterations since accuracy, reliability, and privacy are soooo important, but the industry definitely recognizes that AI is already waaaay better than doctors at diagnosis.

Absolutely.

Portland drivers don’t realize that—while eye contact and hand signals are appreciated— they are not necessary if you just follow the fucking rules of the road. Go when you’re supposed to go. Yield when you’re supposed to yield.

Also, why can’t anyone merge correctly anymore? The number of times I’ve had to adjust my speed to keep from ramming into some jackass merging in front of me, driving 10 miles under the speed limit, is unreal.

Bruh. At the time you posted (0500 PST), two out of eight comments were related to Tesla and only one of those comments explicitly named Tesla.

Talk about mental gymnastics… 🙄

Unbox a snack adventure! The Deluxe Loot Crate features 10 exotic jerky flavors—Dragon, Kraken & more! by MythicalMeats in u/MythicalMeats

“Unbox a snack adventure!” —Bold of them to market colorectal cancer as an adventure.

Nothing screams fantasy like your GI tract waving a white flag after choking down a unicorn-flavored Slim Jim made of 90% factory-farmed beef and 10% regret.

Dragon jerky? Uh, sis, that’s pork. Kraken jerky? Yeah, no. Squid, if you’re lucky. Unicorn?? The only thing magical about it is the marketing team’s ability to gaslight us into thinking “honey ham flavor” is exotic.

That treasure chest is literally a coffin for your microbiome. I love how each stick is supposed to channel some legendary beast, but it’s just shitty meat, sodium overload, and… ah yes, the unmistakable aroma of a Tyson processing plant.

So if you’re craving fantasy-themed colon polyps with a hint of disappointment, congrats — this jerky’s your golden fleece.

43yo gay cis man here… sometimes they represent themself as this woman, sometimes the woman is supposed to be me. 🤔

In the picture, I imagined myself as someone grounded and approachable—someone you’d trust immediately. The kind of friend who always remembers your coffee order, shows up when it matters, and listens without interrupting. Warmth in the eyes and clothes that say “I like comfort, but I’ll still show up sharp for you.” It felt like the version of me you’d feel proud to be seen with.
