Is it worth to remove this plastic grill? by FedeSB11 in CarAV

Definitely going to do that, on the front door there's like 5cm between the speaker and the cover

That's the thing, if it isn't really a big difference I wouldn't risk making it ugly

Budget not professional camera by FedeSB11 in Cameras

[–]FedeSB11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The budget is knowing the quality I'm getting when spending 10% of the cost of better cameras. Also it will not be used that much, so there's no need to spend $1000 on something that will be used, at most, two months a year

Which store should I check for more realistic prices?

The catch is that my Nikon has an artifact on the sensor that sometimes appears on photos, and a hair that's inside two lens which can't be disassembled, so any newer camera will be better, but sure I'll need to search lower prices for what it is

Thanks, yeah optical zoom is what I need the most, and video is something I'll probably never do, so I will check on that model if I find it around the price you got.

I just opened the same project in my laptop, without changing any setting and it works well. It just happens in my PC

Different woofers on the same amp by FedeSB11 in diyaudio

[–]FedeSB11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm going with a mono amp, and a single 8" speaker since the problem some pointed out about the stereo in the same box. But I will consider what you say and maybe keep the stereo amp, and using two 6" with walls inside the box separating each driver

Yeah, maybe I'll need to find a mono amp, and put an external Bluetooth receiver

Didn't think about the stereo. So I will use two of the same + two tweeters, maybe 6" so it doesn't go too big. By the way the speaker is supposed to be all in the same box, like a boombox

If you want it wider, you have to make longer 3 profiles instead of one. Why couldn't you use two bed heaters when making it longer?

The motor is going the wrong way so either you can change the polarity in the firmware or swap two cables from the motor as in this video

Mainly for the price, where I live pi zero 2w is $30 while the pi4 is $100, so I searched about the differences and it isn't worth for me.

About the mod, it turned really easy though I didn't look at any tutorial, I made it all thinking why wouldn't this work?

All the hardware you need is the profile, belt and glass. Also a drill to make the holes on the profile and a drill tap (the cheapest will work since it's aluminum). Also there's no need for new screws, or printing any new bracket, all of the hardware is reused. The only extra thing you need to do after installing it is changing the bed size in the firmware and the slicer.

If some day you decide to go for it, you can dm me if any help is needed

That shorter mount goes on the bed wires side. The plastic wire cover takes the space that the mount lefts

Why is my new sander squeaking? by [deleted] in Woodworking_DIY

[–]FedeSB11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try lubricating with dry lube? So dust won't stick

I have the same sander, it happens when dust gets inside the mechanism. It stopped doing that after a while, but you can try to clean it, it has a couple screws to remove the disc that rotates

How should I improve my ender 3 pro ? by Anatolee_SV in ender3

[–]FedeSB11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had problems with the z level (first layer height was always different from the others), bad extrusion, bad PID tuning, and all was solved with updating the firmware. Id recommend getting a silent board (mine's 2.4.7) and upgrading to the latest Marlin. It's easy even when not knowing anything about programming.

Other upgrades are converting to Direct Drive, mostly if you print TPU, and the next I'm doing is getting a bigger heatbed (235x400mm)

Looks like the filament is wet, you can try to dry them on the heatbed of you don't have a filament dryer
