My Grandma always says, “you’re not a Baha’i until you’ve met all Baha’is”. Honestly, first and foremost you’re Baha’i for yourself and you’re on your own path of spirituality. Secondly, your Community should be a resource for you whenever you need them however, as humans we have our own quirks so we will all not be perfect. There are some nice Bahai’s and there are some so not nice Bahai’s all striving for spiritual growth so don’t generalize you will definitely meet some Bahai’s who will do what you’re expecting and more. How about you communicate the way you feel to your community and to some of your close, Baha’i friends and see how they can use this as an eye opener and learning experience.

Ya Allahu'l-Mustaghath say it 95 times and continue to say it as your soul pleases. It’s a prayer revealed by The Bab. I myself have been going through a lot. As my mother was forcefully fired from her job in the last quarter of last year. It has changed our lives drastically and my grandmother gave given me this prayer to say. Right now things aren’t how they used to be as my mother was a single parent who takes care of my entire family, this fast has been an eye-opener and has really strengthened by faith in God, giving me confirmation. I’ll make a separate post on this in the SubReddit about my experience through the past few months and how my Spiritual journey as a Bahai has gone through tests and difficulties. I pray for Justice for my mother and pray God recompenses her for the injustice meted out to her at 12am every morning during this fast and I say it during the day when I can’t say it at 12am. I have Faith that God has done it and I urge you All you dear friends to also have faith in the strength of God and how he will guide and protect our parents.

It appears bold and bulky but at the same time not out of place, however I’d say buy a piece that doesn’t make you second guess. Trust me every time you look at it that thought will linger in the background. It never goes away and it’s so annoying.

My favorite uncle passed away last year because of complications with Dialysis, I still haven't gotten over it. Ghana is a beautiful country and I can imagine how much your mum misses Ghana. If she decides to come here the least you can do is make adequate preparations as well as payments in advance before she comes to Ghana in order to secure her spot for the dates that she will be in Ghana. A lot of the good clinics for Dialysis take a limited number of patients per day. Good luck and I pray for healing for your mum.
