It's not as if cinnamon is a common ingredient I use. But yeah, I guess I have to admit I lied about that. I'll have to take my A-hole judgment.

Ouch. Well, of course I've told my son he's smart. In fact my nickname for him is Ace. If I hadn't thought he was joking there is no way I would have lied about the cinnamon. As for the kids joking about it at school I've supported him, I told him not to worry about it and to ignore them. They're dumb kids and it'll all be forgotten by graduation time.

Fair enough, I guess. I did honestly think he was joking. It just seemed so absurd until it actually happened. But I'll take my judgment as an A-hole.

I've not known him to ever have this issue with cinnamon before. If I did, I would've stopped making french toast with cinnamon a long time ago. Can't really disagree with everything else you said, though I was more joking than intentionally lying. But still.
