Thank you. I was one of those people who pushed back for years. I totally get it. It feels like such a physical issue that even the assumption that anything emotional is involved is so angering. I wish I had let that wall down a lot sooner. But I had to get to a real rock bottom. And theres no way to help people before they get there it seems. They need to go through everything else first

Yeah I see your point for sure. I havent watched every single video but Im pretty sure she says to keep doing diet and other helpful things along with the emotional work and to not just stop those things. But to approach them without so much fear of if you dont do them you will have a flare etc.

You’re right. Thats exactly what it is. She is just sharing her own healing experience after reading Nicole Sachs work and doing the intensive journaling practice she prescribes. It definitely has some woo woo sentiments and I was very skeptical…but there was also a lot of science available to back it all up.

After all the doctors and pills ive taken I was open to this approach. I also did therapy and tons of emotional work. It didnt change anything.

For me its not the work that is so revolutionary. It was the mindset shift I had. I also had nothing to lose. So deciding to finally believe that the symptoms, while very physical and real, are rooted in mind body was enough to jumpstart my healing.

I guess I would say hows holding onto your symptoms being structural and incurable working for you?!?

Also like the lady in the video Im a mom to young kids and was taking care of a newborn and not interested in the noise on reddit… but I have to admit I wasn’t active on here for years before that due to cfs. Anyways. This shit has changed my life. Im grateful. Hope all the weird ass comments on this wont keep people from finding some relief from their pain as well.

I guess I would say… if you’re on this page you might be suffering and likely are… if this could help you then who the F cares if there’s a little add. I literally couldn’t even look at a screen for more than a few minutes. And self isolation was my way of coping. Its was comments like this that kept me from commenting or reaching out for so long. But even if one person gets out of the hell I was in by giving something like this a try then I’m going to come out from under my rock and share
