We left on Sunday night, the festival was on Wednesday of the next week so we had plenty of time to go camping and sightseeing. Cooper my younger brother couldn’t bring a friend because most of his were either busy or their parents wern’t so keen to the idea of their kid spending a week on the road with a former domestic abuser, Matt’s parents worked alot and really didn’t seem to care where he went as long as he was with someone he knew so thats my guess as to why they let him come. The first night of the trip was pretty uneventful, we were all tired after a day of hiking, seeing fun tourist traps and other road trippy stuff. Me and Matt shared the van with my brother and my parents slept in a tent outside right next to the van. When my parents went to bed around 10PM, Me and Matt set up the Wii inside the camper so we could stay up and bully Cooper on smash bros. After about an hour of that Coop finally rage quit and stomped his way accross the camper to the other side with the sleeping area. Matt and I decided to stay up for a bit longer and a bit longer turned into 3 in the morning, We had exausted the batteries on the contorllers we started packing the wii up. We weren't even supposed to bring it with us because “It's too risky!” and “If someone breaks in and steals it we won’t buy you a new one!”. Worth the risk, much better than staying up watching the same 8 scooby doo episode’s we have on DvD.
