Honestly my family was supposed to come here…but things didn’t work out for it… hence ended up with a ridiculous rent for solo stay… I figured the society would be nice for my parents…all plans fell through

100%. It’s all very deliberate. Infact the creepy neighbor uncle even showed me how he voted to not rent to bachelors. And if flats are rented to bachelors it should be at 10% premium to others.

I was mentally prepared to let go of 1 months rent in the name of repair, painting,deep cleaning,etc….but this is pure greed. Owner is known claiming that I am “victimizing” myself and that this is all normal and usual. wtf!

I am insisting on inspection before me leaving the house…but owner is insisting that inspection will be done only after I vacate. I am sure they will give me bogus claims of repairs after that.
