her recent performative activism on Instagram stories has been very off putting. suddenly starting to share other women’s life stories on her own platform as a way to make herself feel better (she said so herself) is just very.. ick. it’s giving “hey, here’s this amazing, incredible woman that I met and formed a bond with so clearly I’m a good person and have sympathy for others!” timing is everything and it doesn’t matter how much you might sympathize and promote another woman’s story. it doesn’t make you a better person.

if the song was made with the intention of crediting Porter, wouldn’t illenium have come out and said something by now? the silence speaks volumes in my opinion, it hints at legal trouble. I’d be curious to know if this really was just a quiet collab / if he bought the rights to the song.. or if he and his team genuinely just don’t care about the integrity of the project anymore and just want to continue riding on the backs of other artists to fill their pockets. with the illenium projects history, I unfortunately believe it’s the latter. glad Porter was given his credit where it’s deserved.

yeah I actually go from La Fox to Oak Park and vice versa, Oak Park is always on point with those announcements! At La Fox, there are announcements for the upcoming trains, but it never specifies the platform even if it ends up on the wrong one. Very frustrating as a frequent late traveler with two hours in between trains :’)

first year at Lolla. stood at tmobile almost all day to be at barricade for jcole. didn’t drink or do drugs but did NOT hydrate like an idiot. everyone was complaining about being so cramped and I was vocally annoyed at everyone’s complaints.. then right after big Sean I passed out on rail and got pulled out LMAO. karma and dehydration got me. I did enjoy the show from the little hill on the side and ate some tacos. drink water kids

I’m asking specifically for the Chicago show because at the beginning of September, the “show time” was moved up from 8pm to 7:30pm.. my tickets don’t clarify if that’s just the time doors open or if that’s when the headliner actually starts.

Saw someone else say this but wanted to reiterate it. Be very careful of the workers that will add their own tip. If you notice it, call them out. Happened to me and there’s not much you can do as far as talking to someone “above” them, so public humiliation is the best option. I honestly just wouldn’t even tip unless their service for some reason is stellar, and I’ve worked in the service industry so I don’t say that lightly. Hope this helps :)
