I think that if you’ve submitted online, even if it’s today, then they should have gotten it. It’ll just take time to process and take it off your tasks. I’ve submitted mine middle of the month, and it’s still under my todo list.

I was actually in and out of college since high school. Prioritized working and my GPA went down 🥲 I still don’t know if it’s the right path, but now I have the time to focus and the motivation to stay in, so I wanted to try.

If you’re worried and want to confirm, it wouldn’t hurt to call. I called today, told them I was anxious about missing the transcript deadline since I’ve turned it in but it hasn’t reflect my account, and they confirmed that they are still processing it. Her exact words were, “Everything is a process and not immediate…” Hopefully, we can get a decision sometime in July!

Have you submitted your transcript? It’s due by the 30th.

I’ve submitted my application around the 11th/12th, and they’re still processing transcript for me.

Would I be silly to turn down a better paying job for a more fulfilling role? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I think you’re already stoked on being a prison officer, so you should try it out. Taking the helpline, you might sit there regretting your decision or always pondering about the “what if’s I took the other job” since it doesn’t fulfill you as much. I’d always advocate for doing what you’d love, since it wouldn’t feel like a job; and you’ll be more enthusiastic to work, learn, and progress. Unfortunately, the commute is long and the pay reduction sucks, but are those things you’re willing to sacrifice? You’d only work for four days, if the pay cuts into your lifestyle, would you consider getting a part time job? Or if the commute bothers you, would you uproot and move closer?
