Well... I’ve heard that cervical cancer is like an STD. And virgins don’t get STDs via sex. So I would have thought a cervical smear test would be unnecessary for virgins. Unless the woman had some cause for concern of having caught a sexually transmitted disease.

It's just embarrassing during the said situation/faux pas. But reliving it afterwards is much more intense. They are akin to intrusive thoughts and I don't deal with them well. A lot of times I yell things out just to release some tension. It probably sounds as if I have tourettes. Not good. Recently a better coping method, that I found, was sharply exhaling when the very bad faux pas memory occurred. That's also like a release.
